RE: Caulking ABS tub surround

Just herd back from Jayco They Have agreed to replace the surround. They said it should not buckle and come off like it is doing. The adhesive on the top should hold.

RE: Caulking ABS tub surround

I was just wondering if anybody knows what the name of the manufacture of the tub surround in a jayco travel trailer. Would be interesting to know how they recommend to install the surround. If it was installed correctly it should not come off so easy.

RE: Caulking ABS tub surround

I have a 08 jayco as well. Left it with my dealer for ten days and he did not fix the problem He said this gap at the top was normal and he could not fix it.Also the plastic rivets are not tight to the wall either. I called Jayco on 6/17/08 and was advised this was not normal and I am waiting to see what they will do about it. I will post when I get a answer from Jayco

RE: Why Dog Owners get a bad reputation "rant"

I have been on three camping trips this year. 1st trip we had a large dog tied out at the next camper. owners left for work and the dog poop smelled very bad they never cleaned up after it. Would hate to be the next camper on that site. 2nd trip small poodle yapped all the time very anoying. 3rd trip 1 very large uncontrollable dog was terrorizing the campground. management asked campers to leave. The site to my left had a small dog that thought my tires was his personal restroom and a tree on my site was the proper place to poop. Owners would not clean up after their dog. I should not have to clean up after them. Bottom line if you bring your dogs camping please keep them off my site. If you leave the campground please take the dog with you. And above all Please don't let your dog urinate or poop on the campsite I might be the next camper and I don`t want to be walking where your dog has been using the bathroom.

RE: Jay Feather 213 electric awning

I have a jayco 32bhds it has a electric awning made by carefree. It will dump rain automatically if needed. Mine has enough slope that it should not hold water.

RE: Confession Time --- Stupid RV Things We've Done...

We were at kerr lake a few years ago I had hooked up the camper and every thing seemed fine. My 3 year old came out of the camper to tell me the water did not work. I discovered that the campground was on well water and were having problems and the water would be back on in a couple of hours. We decided to go up to the nearest store for some fishing bait when I returned I discovered the water was back on and my son had left the water running in the sink. Needless to say the tank filled up and water was running out the front door. Now I cut the water off before I leave the camp ground
